G-Assist and ACE

Berman introduces a gaming assistant and digital characters among NVIDIA’s Computex announcements. He presents the video in partnership with NVIDIA.

Project G-Assist framework
SLIDE 1 / 1Project G-Assist frameworkThe diagram shows speech, visual and application inputs feeding an AI assistant.

At Computex 2024, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang made several AI announcements. Project G-Assist is an RTX-powered assistant intended to use the context of the game you’re playing and answer questions about it.

NVIDIA ACE is another announcement: I describe digital humans that look realistic and are generated rather than pre-rendered. The video shows an example of a digital character.

AI laptops and developer tools

He highlights RTX-powered laptops, an AI toolkit and ComfyUI acceleration. His comments reflect the 2024 announcements.

NVIDIA also announced RTX-powered AI laptops intended to run parts of the Copilot+ experience locally on Windows. The RTX AI Toolkit provides tools for model development and deployment; I plan to try them.

For text-to-image generation, I say ComfyUI now supports RTX acceleration. NVIDIA partnered with me on this video, and I point viewers to its AI Decoded blog for more information.
