Automating routine errands

Berman lists grocery and vehicle-registration tasks as examples. He argues that automating website interactions can save time.

A bot can help with errands such as putting together a grocery list or registering a car with the DMV. Tasks that require clicking through websites may each take ten or twenty minutes, so I find the idea of delegating them appealing. These are examples of potential uses, not a measured comparison of time saved.

Returns and appointments

He describes an Amazon return as a favorite example. He also suggests gym and medical appointments.

One of my favorite uses is having my Grok bot handle an Amazon return. Instead of navigating the return flow myself, I say the bot does it and gives me a QR code. I also suggest it could book gym times or doctor appointments. Whether a particular task succeeds depends on the service and circumstances; this short clip does not show every workflow being completed.
