RESUMEN

En 30 segundos

Matthew Berman recounts an interview in which xAI engineer Sulaiman Ghori discussed Colossus, the company's human-emulator work and a Cybertruck incentive. Berman says Ghori was fired the next day for the interview. Reporting at the time confirmed Ghori's departure days after the interview but described a connection to the interview as speculation, not established fact ([Gizmodo](https://gizmodo.com/engineer-at-elon-musks-xai-departs-after-spilling-the-beans-in-podcast-interview-2000712569/)).

  1. 1Interview and departureBerman says the engineer was fired after an interview; contemporary reporting confirmed a departure but treated the reason as speculation.
  2. 2Colossus infrastructureBerman highlights Ghori's account of 80 mobile generators and the 122-day data-center build.
  3. 3Human emulatorsGhori discusses internal tests of AI agents intended to perform knowledge work.
  4. 4Cybertruck incentiveGhori recounts a bet involving a Cybertruck and a 24-hour training target; the short clip cuts off the answer about the reward.

Conclusiones

  1. Ghori discussed xAI's Colossus data center and said the company used 80 mobile generators.
  2. He described internal tests of AI 'human emulators' as part of the Macrohard project.
  3. A story about a Cybertruck illustrates an incentive tied to an accelerated training run, though the clip does not establish whether one was awarded.
  4. Ghori departed xAI days after the interview; the reason and exact timing asserted in the video are not independently established.

A podcast, a departure and xAI's projects

Berman comments on an engineer's interview and departure, then plays excerpts about data-center infrastructure, AI agents and a workplace incentive. The cause of the departure is not established in the clip.

My advice: if you work for Elon Musk, think carefully before discussing nonpublic details on a podcast. I say that an xAI engineer spoke with Ti Morse and was fired the next day after sharing information about the company. The engineer, Sulaiman Ghori, did leave xAI days after the interview, but contemporary reporting treated a connection between the interview and his departure as speculation, not a confirmed reason.

One detail concerns Colossus, xAI's data center, which I say was built in 122 days. Ghori discusses the use of 80 mobile generators. I also highlight his account of Macrohard, a project aimed at AI 'human emulators' for knowledge work; he says the company began testing some internally as employees.

Ghori also recounts a bet in which Musk offered a Cybertruck if a training run could be started on GPUs within 24 hours. He says the team was training that night. The excerpt cuts off his response to whether the colleague got the truck, so it does not establish the outcome.

The clip includes a short account of Ghori's work with xAI's backend team. I express surprise that someone working for Musk would discuss company details publicly, and ask where he might work next.
