A reaction to the redesign

Theo shows the revised app and explains why he dislikes the placement of chat.

OpenAI announced a redesigned app called ChatGPT Work, and I am disappointed with the version I tried. It brings the Codex app into a broader ChatGPT experience. The interface shown here reflects the version available when I recorded this, not necessarily later versions.

Chat option in the redesigned app
SLIDE 1 / 1Chat option in the redesigned appThe video shows the Chat entry in the sidebar of the version Theo tested.

If this is called ChatGPT, where is the chat? In the interface I show, there is a Chat option lower down the sidebar; it opens a movable pop-up. I dislike that arrangement and suspect people who primarily use the app for ChatGPT may be even more frustrated by it than coding users.
