Arriving and getting ready
Shira and Bart reach the location early. Makeup and hair preparations begin.
Shira Lazar begins the vlog on the way to Bart Baker’s “Closer” parody shoot. It is around 6 a.m., still dark, and the pair look for coffee before arriving at the location.
At the house, Shira shows the setting and points out a view of the Hollywood sign. Bart says he has not yet had a chance to look around and is still waking up.
Makeup artists begin setting up. Shira gets ready, talks about being tired and spots a dog relaxing on the roof. She also takes viewers along for a livestream.
The first scenes
They describe their characters and shoot a bar scene. The group then moves to a bedroom scene.
Shira says her hair and makeup are inspired by Halsey. Bart describes playing a parody version of one of The Chainsmokers, and they joke about their costumes.
