Preparing and traveling
Lazar and Baker introduce their plans and show the supplies they bought. They drive to meet the puppy.
Shira Lazar and Bart Baker announce that they are getting a golden retriever puppy named Bentley. They say Baker has already created an Instagram account using pictures supplied before the visit. Both are excited and nervous about meeting him.
They show the bed, toys, wipes and small bow ties they bought, then prepare to drive to the place where Bentley was born. Lazar jokes about their worries that the puppy might not like them.
On the way, the pair reflect on meeting Bentley and leaving his dog family. They promise to welcome him into their own home and joke about how unfamiliar it feels to become first-time puppy caregivers.
They arrive and wait with a small bag of supplies. When Bentley is brought out, both Lazar and Baker become tearful. They hold him, greet him and are surprised by how calm he seems.
Meeting Bentley
