An open-weight AI letter

Theo reacts to a post connected to NVIDIA’s letter. He highlights Anthropic’s absence and gives his interpretation of its significance.

I think Anthropic has made a new big enemy: Jensen Huang, the CEO of NVIDIA. He posted about an NVIDIA letter, and I read that as a callout of Anthropic. That is my interpretation of the post, not direct evidence that the letter was intended to attack the company.

The letter concerns open-weight models. I point out that many AI and AI-adjacent companies are included, but Anthropic is not among those shown. Its absence by itself does not explain why it was not included.
